Meeting the deadline is important, but the preparation process behind GSTR-9 and GSTR-9C is where many businesses face real challenges. Proper reconciliation between accounting records, invoices, and filed returns can help identify issues before submission. A structured review process can reduce correction work and make future GST audits much easier to handle.
