Hey all,

This is Ravi, and today, I will let you know the new changes in column number 12 in the GST Portal.

What is Table Number 12 in the GST?

In Table number 12, businesses report the HSN-wise (Harmonized System Nomenclature) summary of the outward supplies. This entails providing details of invoices issued during the reporting period.

Changes in the table no. 12?

In Table No. 12 of the GST Portal, we have to enter the HSN-wise details based on our records. Previously, we manually entered all the details of our invoices in Table No. 12. However, after the implementation of new changes in Table No. 12 of GST, we now simply need to click on the “Import HSN wise summary from e-invoice” button. Upon clicking this button, our HSN details will automatically import from the e-invoice portal and populate Table No. 12 of the GST return form.

Note Point***

Don’t enter the HSN-wise details manually, if you enter your HSN-wise data manually first, and then you click on the import HSN-wise data after that your all the data will be removed from table no12 of the GST. Once imported, verify that the records match your data. If all records align, proceed to save the data. However, if any discrepancies arise where the HSN data does not match your records, make necessary manual adjustments.

Thanks,

Why DRC-01C message is showing on the Dashboard?

This is a form of grievance and by using this form you can able to pay your extra credit amount, So would you pay the extra credit amount? because You took an extra credit amount when you furnished your GSTR-3B form the GSTR-2B.

How to see the mismatch for this error?

If you want to see why this message is showing on your dashboard you just do some small steps.

Click on the “services button” -> After that, go to the “Return section”, and in the Return section you can see the “Tax liabilities and ITC comparison” button then click on it after that you can see your GSTR-1, 3B, and GSTR-2B mismatch and also you can see the ITC details here.

Hi Friends,

Today I will let you know how to set off the tax amount with the help of the Make payment/post credit to ledger option.

What is GST?

GST stands for Goods and Services Tax. It is a comprehensive indirect tax levied on the supply of goods and services in many countries around the world. GST is designed to replace multiple cascading taxes that were previously imposed, such as value-added tax (VAT), central excise duty, and service tax.

The main objective of implementing GST is to create a unified and simplified tax system that eliminates the complexities and inefficiencies of the previous tax structure. By doing so, it aims to streamline the tax collection process, promote ease of doing business, and reduce tax evasion.

Under the GST regime, all types of goods and services are classified into different tax rates, commonly referred to as tax slabs. These tax slabs may vary from country to country but usually include multiple rates, such as a standard rate, a reduced rate, and sometimes a zero rate for essential items. The rates are applied at each stage of the supply chain, allowing for the input tax credits to be claimed by businesses for taxes paid on their purchases.

Greetings

This is Ravi Verma, In this Article, I will let you know about the new Rule 37A of the GST.

Let’s Begin,

New rule 37A is linked with the GST section of 41

What is rule 41 in the GST?

Under this rule, If you have taken your ITC from your GST portal that is very good but pleases note that point you have taken your ITC and your supplier has not been depositing the GST tax money to the government. And your supplier has received that GST amount from you.

After that, the GST department will send you a notice about this matter, and he will connect you through e-mail and the GST portal, in that e-mail, he will say you that, please return the excess ITC amount with interest which has been availed by you at the time of ITC claiming.

What is Rule 37A?

In the new rule 37A, there are two mechanisms in this rule

ITC reversal

ITC reclaim

Let’s know about this new rule. The GST department will try to implement this rule, and after coming to this rule full profit will be taken by the GST department. Suppose that you purchased a piece of machinery from Mr. A, and Mr. A has released a tax invoice, after doing all these steps when I have filed my GST return and availed my ITC, after that, if your supplier has not paid the GST amount to the GST government, then the government will send you a notification in your portal and through the e-mail and say that please reverse the GST amount with interest which was claimed by you at the time of filling of your GST return. And after giving this notification your supplier will pay the pending GST amount to the government, then the GST department will give you a chance to reclaim your previous ITC and avail of it.

Let’s see when this rule will be fully implemented for us.

Hello Friends

This is Ravi Verma, In this Article, I would let you know about the DRC-03 Form.

What is DRC-03?

DRC-03 Form is implemented by the GST department for the payment of interest and Liabilities. and this is a voluntary tax payment form that is issued by the GST department to their GST holders.

If any GSTIN holder who did not pay his own taxes to the GST department, then the GST department issues show-cause notice to their GSTIN holder for the payment of interest and liabilities.

What is the reason a taxpayer makes payment in DRC-03

There are different cases for a taxpayer to pay their tax with the help of the DRC-03 form.

ITC Mismatch – When the GST department starts conducting the audit. If he finds any mismatch in taxes, then he issues a show cause notice to that type of GSTIN holder for the payment of interest and liabilities at the earliest. if the GSTIN holder avails the excess ITC for the payment of their tax then the GST department will issue a show-cause notice for the payment of its interest and liabilities.

Liability Mismatch – If any GSTIN holder had not paid their taxes according to GSTR-3B and the GST department would be known then he would issue a show-cause notice to that type of GSTIN holder.

Any demand / Voluntary – when we received any notice from the GST department for non-payment of taxes or shortfall in taxes then due to this type of mistake we would have to pay our taxes with the help of the DRC-03 form.

Annual return – When we are preparing our audit report for filing, suddenly we saw a shortfall of taxes according to the GSTR-3B. due to this type of mistake first, we will have to pay the taxes and their interest with the help of DRC-03 and after that, we can file our annual return.

Reconciliation of Statement – when an auditor lets you know that you have not paid your full tax liability on the GST portal then first you will have to pay your tax with interest and penalty with the help of DRC-03 and report it in GSTR-9, It should also be reported in GSTR-9C by the GST auditor.

Hi Guy’s

This is Ravi Verma, in this article, I will tell you about the question and answer of GSTR-1

Let’s Start,

What is GSTR-1?

In GSTR-1 we give a summary of all our sales so that the government can know how much tax we have collected which we have to submit to the government.

Who is required to file the GSTR-1?

All such taxpayers who have taken registration under GST and they are selling every month, whether of goods or services, in this case, it becomes necessary to file GSTR-1.

Is GSTR-1 filing mandatory?

Yes, It is necessary for everyone to file GSTR-1, whether they have sales or not, it is necessary to file the return, if no one does this, then the government imposes a penalty.

What are the available modes of preparing GSTR-1?

GSTR-1 can be prepared using the following modes:
A. Online entry on the GST Portal
B. Uploading of invoice and other GSTR-1 data using Returns Offline Tool
C. Using third party application of Application Software Provider (ASPs) through GST Suvidha Providers (GSPs)

What details have to be furnished in GSTR-1?

The following details of a tax period have to be furnished in GSTR-1:
. Invoice level details of supplies to registered persons including those having UIN
. Invoice level details of Inter- state supplies of invoice value greater than equal to INR 2,50,000 to unregistered persons (consumers)
. Details of Credit/Debit Notes issued by the supplier against invoices
. Details of export of goods and services including deemed exports (SEZ)
. Summarised state level details of supplies to unregistered persons (consumers)
. Summary Details of Advances received in relation to future supply and their adjustment
. Details of any amendments effected to the reported information for either of the above categories.
. Nil-rated, exempted, and non-GST supplies
. HSN/SAC wise summary of outward supplies

Which type of registered taxpayers are not required to file the GSTR-1?

The following taxpayers are not required to file GSTR-1:
1. Taxpayers under the Composition Scheme (Return to be filled by them in GSTR 4)
2. on-resident foreign taxpayers (Return to be filled by them in GSTR 5)
3. Online information database and access retrieval service provider (Return to be filled by them in GSTR 5A)
4. Input Service Distributors (ISD) (Return to be filled by them in GSTR-6)
5. Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) deductors (Return to be filled by them in GSTR 7)
6. E-commerce operators deducting TCS (Return to be filled by them in GSTR 8)

For which class of Taxpayers is DSC mandatory for filing returns?

DSC is mandatory in the case of all Public & Private Limited Companies, Limited Liability Partnerships (LLPs), and Foreign Limited Liability Partnerships (LLPs).

What is the due date for filing the GSTR-1?

For normal taxpayers due date to file GSTR-1 for a given tax period is the 11th day of the succeeding month and small taxpayers with turnover up to 1.5 crores are required to file GSTR-1 quarterly, And small taxpayers file all their B2B invoices on the 13th of every month with the help of the IFF.

What is the meaning of ‘Total Invoice Value’ in GSTR-1?

The Meaning of Total Invoice Value is Taxable Value + GST = Total Invoice Value.

Different Between Total Invoice Value and Taxable Value?

Total Invoice Value means = Taxable Value + Tax
and invoice value = only the value of the goods or service which does not include tax.

Can I enter details of Goods and Services in the same invoice?

Yes, you can enter your goods and services in the same Invoice except under the CUMP scheme because under this scheme company provides the bill of supply, not the tax bill.

What are B2B Supplies?

when a registered person is purchased goods/services from another registration person then this type of supply is business to business supply(B2B).

What is meant by B2C Supplies?

when an unregistered person purchases goods/services from another registration person then this type of supply is called business to customer supply(B2C).

What are Debit Notes?

When a registered company sells any goods/services to any other registered company and if the goods/services are not received according to the invoice, then that registered company issues a debit note to the other registered company, and with the help of this, he takes the money into its credit ledger.

What are Credit Notes?

When a registered company buys goods/services from another registered company and supplies them by mistake at a lower rate, in this case, the other company issues credit to him.

Whether purchases from unregistered person, which are subject to reverse charge, for which the recipient issues a tax invoice, is required to be reported ?

All the purchases from an unregistered person, which are subject to reverse charge, for which the recipient issues a tax invoice are to be reported in GSTR-2 (and not in GSTR-1).

Do I need to upload the invoice details at the time of filing GSTR-1?

Taxpayers can upload invoice details any time during the tax period and not just at the time of filing of GSTR-1.

What is the meaning of B2C large invoice?

It means the B2C invoice value is More than 2.5lakh then this invoice is to enter in this column.

All Amendmend record Details?

When we need to amend an invoice in our GSTR-1, we can easily amend it by going to the amendment column.

What is the due date for the payment of monthly tax liabilities for normal taxpayers?

As a normal taxpayer, the due date for payment of tax is the 20th of every month.

Thanks,

This is Ravi Verma,

In this article, I will tell you how to claim the correct ITC in GST Portal

As per section 38:- Now the government has changed the rules for claiming ITC.

If any person has to claim his ITC, then he will have to claim his ITCaccording to the government, if any person does not do so, then his registration can be canceled by the government.

As we know that we have to know our ITC in GSTR-2B, in this we get to know how much ITC we should claim while filing our GST return. Now the government has made changes under GSTR-2B, under which we now have to claim the same amount to take our ITC credit, which the government has shown in the column of ITC available.

Change in GSTR-2B

The government has introduced two new columns in GSTR-2B

ITC Available Column – In this column, taxpayers can avail themselves its ITC without any problems (only available ITC can claim)

ITC restricted Column – Under this column, you cannot avail your ITC as your vendor defaulter in this column can be counted in the column.

The government has inserted a new section 38, under this section in which the government has covered which taxpayer is a defaulter.

newly registered taxpayers – If a person takes a new registration in GSTIN, then the government has imposed a restriction for that we cannot take our full ITC from that person.

Defaulter Supplier (Not Paying GST Amount):- If a supplier does not pay tax in GST, the government has classified such a supplier as a defaulting supplier.

The GSTR-1 tax amount does not exceed the GSTR-3B tax amount.:- If the tax on GSTR-1 of a supplier is more than the tax amount on GSTR-3B, then the supplier is declared a defaulter.uppler’s

Claiming ITC in excess of GSTR-2B – If a supplier claims his ITC in excess of the GSTR-2B amount, then such supplier is a defaulter.

Non-payment of full tax by ITC – If a taxpayer makes full payment of his tax through his credit ledger, then such GST holder will be declared a defaulter, In this, we will pay 99% of our tax in our credit ledger and 1% is to be done by cash.

The government has already declared such person as a defaulter – A person who has not paid his taxes and does not follow the government rules, such person is declared a defaulter by the government.

Special notes – Now we do not have to make any purchases from any such supplier who falls under the category of the defaulter.
What has been said in the budget about GSTR-2B in 2022-2023?

Hi guy’s

This is Ravi Varma, in this article I will tell you about the New changes in GSTR-1 columns

Let’s start,

The government has just changed all the columns of GSTR-1 as not many taxpayers use some of the columns of GSTR-1.

So for this, the GST department thought of a very good solution and separated all the mandatory tables which are used regularly by all the taxpayers and the columns which were used for a particular purpose were also separated so that All taxpayers can do their work easily.

All these taxpayers got the benefit that now they will not have confusion and whatever kind of problem they have, they can easily select that table and finish their work in an easy way.

                                                  ADD RECORD DETAILS

4A, 4B, 6B, 6C – B2B Invoices:- All the B2B sales we have in this table, the records of all those are entered inside this table.

B2B sales:- Such sales in which we sell each other under GSTIN number, then such sales are called B2B sales.

5A, 5B – B2C (Large) Invoices:- In this table, we enter the invoice whose value is more than 2.5 lakh and that is done under Sales B2C.

B2C sales:- Such sales in which we sell each other without the GSTIN number, then such sales are called B2C sales.

6A – Exports Invoices:- If we make a sale with a specific person who is outside India, then such a sale is called an export sale and we can also say that a sale in which we sell any goods or service outside India, then it is called an export sale.

7 – B2C(others):- If we have done any kind of sales from any unregistered person then we have to show that invoice in this column.

8A, 8B, 8C, 8D – Nil Rated Supplies:- In this we count the invoice in which we cannot charge tax and it is excluded from the taxable category, in other words, we can say that such goods or services which are not taxable, we call it Called zero-rated goods or service.

9B – Credit / Debit Notes (Registered):- It means if we sell goods to a person who has a GST number and that person has done B2B sales and we have accidentally sold goods to him at a lower price, then in this case, the person who bought the goods Will issue credit to us so that we can get our balance money through credit note.

9B – Credit / Debit Notes (Unregistered):- It means if we sell goods to a person who has not a GST number and that person has done B2C sales and we have accidentally sold goods to him at a lower price, then in this case, the person who bought the goods Will issue credit to us so that we can get our balance money through credit note.

11A(1), 11A(2) – Tax Liability (Advance Received):- If we receive an amount in advance for any goods or services, then we will show the invoice in the column of Advance Received, Because these are liabilities for us, that’s why we have to deposit the tax in advance to the government.

11B(1), 11B(2) – Adjustment of Advances:- When the advance amount is given to us for any goods, we have to fill the same in the column of Advance Received to make adjustments.

12 – HSN-Wise Summary of outward supplies:- If we do sales of goods with a registered person, then we have to enter in this column the HSN code of all the sales invoices we have.

13 – Documents issued:- In this, we have to enter the total number of invoices for all our sales and if we have canceled any invoice, we have to enter that too.

                                             AMEND RECORD DETAILS

9A – Amended B2B invoices:- If any rectification needs to be done in our B2B invoice, we will do that rectification in this column

Amended B2C (Large) Invoices:- If any rectification needs to be done in our B2C large invoice, we will do that rectification in this column. (more than 2.5 lakh B2C invoices)

9A – Amended Exports Invoices:- If we have any export invoice and we want to amend anything in it then we have to select this column.

9C – Credit / Debit Notes (Registered):- If we have issued credit/debit notes to any registered person and if we have to make any kind of amendment to it then we have to select this column.

9C – Credit / Debit Notes (Unregistered):- If we have issued credit/debit notes to any Unregistered person and if we have to make any kind of amendment to it then we have to select this column.

Amended B2C (Other):- If we have made any kind of sale from an unregistered person and we have to make any kind of amendment to it, then we have to amend that invoice in this column.

11A – Amended Tax Liability (Advances Received):- If we have received any amount in advance against any goods and if any correction is to be done in that amount then we have to do the correction in this column.

11B – Amendment of Adjustment of Advances:- If we have made any advance request and if any mistake has been made in its adjustment, then we can correct it by going to this column.

Thanks,

In this, we add our output supply which is sold to a registered person and it is an output supply. […]

In this, we add our output supply which is sold to a registered person and it is an output supply. Whichever business 1.5 More than ten million transactions take place, in which they file monthly returns. And of any business Transactions of less than 1.5 crores can file it both in Quarterly and Monthly. When we open our GSTR-1 portal,

The first thing we do is show the option of business, in which we have to show the transaction of all our sales, that is also to show the transaction of sales with the registered person. Are fallacy. When we click this, we have to enter the GST number first. And then the Amount and Invoice Date. Then we have to enter the taxable amount in the same column as we have sold it according to the tax, in which it automatically finds the tax whether it is intrastate or integrated.

Under Filling GSTR-1 {(5A, 5B – B2C (Large)} Invoices?

Inside this, if we sale business 2 consumer and registered persons, we have to enter all the details in it, there is no need for an invoice and we add all our consumer transactions inside it. But there is one more thing in it. This is the fact that we sell more than 2.5 lakhs in Intrastate. Then we have to take the invoice number.

Under GSTR-1 Credit / Debit Notes (Registered)?

In this, we are sold through whatever registered person. His debit and credit notes are proof. Within this, we have to select our number and date by ourselves. In this, we have to enter the original invoice number and original invoice date of the person whose notes are made. If it is not original then your debit and credit notes cannot be made.
And in the option, we also have to select this type.

Under GSTR-1 Credit / Debit Notes (Unregistered)?

These tables are a part of GST-1. In which we see all our exports. Meaning that we export our goods to another state. So we fill it in this table. In this, the registered person can claim the refund of his exports and his supply tax is only in the interstate. In this, we will enter shipping no, enter date and whatever taxable amount will be entered.
